Training progresses from fundamentals to increasingly complex practical application and integrated field exercises.

Students receive instruction and practical training in:

• Integrated field training exercises

Firearms training begins on Day 1 with safety, handling and a baseline qualification and continues progressively throughout the Academy. Students move from core firearms performance into protective movement, vehicle, AOP, medical and scenario-based applications as their skills develop.

Two dedicated training days focus on medical readiness, including CPR, First Aid, hemorrhage control, Stop the Bleed skills and the integration of medical response into protective scenarios.

Protective combatives training develops practical skills for controlling contact, creating time and space, protecting the principal, retaining weapons and transitioning back to the protective mission.

Protective operations do not occur one skill at a time.

For that reason, the Academy deliberately connects firearms, movement, advance work, vehicles, communications, medical response and decision-making throughout the program.

Students progress through explanation and demonstration, coached repetitions, increasingly complex exercises and ultimately full protective missions requiring them to plan, brief, execute and adapt as a team.

The Academy culminates in graded field training exercises integrating the skills developed throughout the program.

Physical training is incorporated into every training day.

Students should arrive prepared for extended training days involving prolonged standing, movement, kneeling, vehicle entry and exit, outdoor training, firearms work, physical contact and scenario-based exercises.

The Academy is demanding by design and should not be considered an introductory physical-conditioning program.

 The Executive Protection Academy is designed for:

• Current or prospective executive protection and close protection professionals
• Security professionals preparing for protective assignments
• Law-enforcement personnel transitioning into protective roles
• Existing protective-team members seeking structured skills development and integration
• Other qualified applicants approved by the Academy

Students must possess prior safe handgun-handling experience and meet all applicable legal, physical, administrative and safety requirements before participating.

Attendance alone does not guarantee graduation.

Students are evaluated throughout the Academy on professional conduct, safety, firearms performance, protective skills, operational planning, communication, medical response, teamwork, decision-making and integrated mission performance.

Successful completion requires students to meet established Academy standards across all mandatory training and evaluation areas.
